Maltese is one of Morocco’s most traditional and appreciated mid-season orange varieties,
recognized for its sweet flavor, reddish flesh, and pleasant aroma. Often considered a local
blood orange type, it is cultivated mainly for fresh consumption and local juice production,
offering both taste quality and vibrant coloration.
